Postiglione Jr. asserts that  an idealist named Pamela Rainey Lawler founded Philadundance in 1984 because she saw perfectly good food being wasted and people going hungry at the same time. Philabundance is proud to be a part of feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks battling hunger.
