Anthony P Postiglione Jr explains that Cradles to Crayons was founded in Boston by Lynn in 2002. We have expanded beyond Massachusetts since our inception: Through our innovative national online donation platform, Giving Factory Direct, Greater Philadelphia in 2006, Chicago in 2016, and New York City in 2020.

Our goal is the same no matter what: to give children from birth to 12 years old the things they need to live a happy life at home, in school, and outside. Every day, our work is motivated by our overarching vision of a world in which children do not face poverty.

Our model enables us to connect those in our communities who have with those in need by making it simple to act on compassion. We accomplish this by clearly conveying the impact of their support and by providing meaningful volunteer experiences for individuals of all ages and backgrounds who wish to participate in our work.
