Philabundance

Anthony-P-Postiglione-Jr

Anthony P. Postiglione Jr. asserts that  an idealist named Pamela Rainey Lawler founded Philadundance in 1984 because she saw perfectly good food being wasted and people going hungry at the same time. Philabundance is proud to be a part of feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks battling hunger.

According to Anthony P. Postiglione Jr., people cannot thrive unless they have access to nutritious food or enough of it. It has an impact on everything from financial success to education to health. If you don’t have enough food, it’s hard to concentrate on schoolwork, work, or managing a heart condition. One of the most difficult and harmful signs of poverty is hunger.
